I’ve been working on my new palace for the last few days and I’ve got a really good idea for it.

My plan is to go around the house and take photos of each room (inc. the outside garden & front door) then convert the images to fairly small 512x384 gif images and map out the entire house in to a virtual version of it on my palace.

This will probably take sometime as I figured it’ll take about 10-20 palace rooms to properly do the house and the photos will need resizing, cropping and made to about 50-80kb in size along with the adding of doors, uploading, etc, etc.

So far I’ve done a few rooms (not of the real house) in the palace so I can get used to doing this again (I self-hosted one a year or so back).

Anyways, actually getting to the point, I’m looking to actually get a few people using the server and trying it out (as I break it, add scripts, etc) and maybe some of you will become palacaholics ;o)

For those who don’t know about Palace you can get information off of here.

For those who want to give it a go you can either get a client for Windows (works on 98 to XP) or Macintosh (Not OS X compatible - I haven’t tested it in classic mode either) or you can just use the web client but it’s not as good as a real client.

I may also consider upgrading from a 10 to 20 package (simultanious connections) if it becomes required :o)
