I have received what can only be described as ‘fucking bizzare’ through the post today. According to Direct Line when attempting to take my payment my bank notified them that “the account is closed”.

But seeing as I’ve taken funds from my account recently and had a few other successful direct debits I’m quite perplexed on why exactly they’ve said my account is “closed”.

Oh well. I’ve been on hold for about 15 minutes, so I’ll send a letter (with the direct debit form filled in (aagain)) on Monday.
